Today I receive my hearing aids.

My body is getting old. It is surreal.

I wonder how much I do not hear.

I wonder if hearing more will be

a blessing or a curse.

Uh oh, it's really weird.

I can hear my hair against my jacket.

I didn't know hair was so noisy.

I remember the first time that I

experienced hearing loss
